Welcome to our Peaceful Pines Family Retreat located in the amenity rich community of Ocean Pines! Whether you are looking for a little R&R or seeking some outdoor adventure, you can enjoy it all just minutes from our cozy, inviting and updated coastal cottage. Our home is located just 8 miles from Ocean City, 7 miles from Berlin (voted America’s Coolest Small Town) 13 miles to Assateague State Park and 2.6 miles to Ocean Downs Casino among many other attractions.

We are so excited to share our newly remodeled home with you all! We have added three bedrooms and a bathroom to our cottage as well new floors throughout the first floor.

LIVING AREA

Relax and unwind on our cozy sofas. In the winter or for cooler nights, turn on the gas fireplace for added comfort. Enjoy your favorite movies or shows on our 55” smart TV.

Living Room has a pullout, full size sleeper bed.

KITCHEN & DINING

Spacious and bright kitchen makes cooking on vacation fun! Equipped with plenty of pots, pans, and kitchen tools for fresh and delicious meals. Additionally, there are plenty of toddler/kid appropriate plastic cups, plates, bowls and utensils.

Center island aids in meal prep and also has two bar stools for added seating.

Dining table is an 8’ long restored barn wood table with plenty of room for everyone! A perfect place for enjoying crabs with friends and family.

Additionally the coffee station folds out into a table and we have short stools that make it a great spot for kids.

BED & BATH

This home has a total of four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.

First Floor:
There is one bedroom on the first floor with a comfortable queen mattress, tv and glider and ottoman. This bedroom has it's own full size bathroom with shower/tub combo and has large walk in closet as well as additional linen closet. The bathroom has plenty of hooks to hang up towels and swimsuits. This first floor suite is great for families who may want a little more privacy or quiet or simply for guests who enjoy first floor living to walking up and down stairs. The glider is great for moms with little ones and a pack and play (provided) fits comfortably in this space as well.

Second Floor:
There are three bedrooms and one bathroom on the second floor. All bedrooms are equally cozy and inviting.
Bedroom #1: Queen size bed and rocking chair.
Bedroom #2: Full size bunk bed along with twin trundle. Cozy reading nook with floor cushions.
Bedroom #3: Queen size bed, twin bed, work space with desk and chair.

The second floor has a full bathroom with beautiful rain head and hand held shower combo. Plenty of hooks as well for towels and swimsuits.

Guests will find complimentary toiletries upon arrival.

Linens, and bath towels are provided to our guests at no additional cost. Please bring your own beach towels. We apologize for any inconvenience but we simply do not have the capacity for them.

There is an additional half bath on the first floor as well.

OUTDOOR AREAS

There is a screened in porch located off of the dining area. This is a lovely place to enjoy coffee in the morning or unwind in the evening. The porch has two chairs, loveseat and bistro table with two dining chairs.

Additionally there is an outdoor table with umbrella and six chairs just outside of the screened porch.

Front driveway is allowed to have up to (4) cars.

Property includes one parking pass for the Ocean Pines Beach Club on 49th Street in Ocean City, MD. Parking pass must be left at property upon departure. Cost to replace lost parking pass is $50.

Access to property is secure through Wifi enabled smart lock. Guests will receive code prior to arrival at home. Your code will be active during the length of your stay.

There is a small daily fee for use of the four seasonal outdoor pools or one year round indoor pool

THE LOCATION

Enjoy waking up and quickly grabbing fresh bagels, coffee and donuts as we are walking distance to many shops and restaurants in Ocean Pines as well as to the dog park, playground and racquet center. Ocean Pines has 5 pools, a small beach area (perfect for younger kids), trails, playgrounds, Saturday morning Farmer’s Market, Yacht Club, Golf Course and racquet sports and more!

If you want to enjoy the sand and surf of the Atlantic Ocean, Ocean City, MD is only 8 miles away. With our Ocean Pines Beach Club parking pass you can easily get to and from the beach. And if you prefer to avoid some of the summer crowds in Ocean City, you can enjoy great restaurants, go-carts, mini-golf, arcades, etc. all within 6 miles from our home. Frontier Town is a fun Western Theme and Water Park located 8 miles from our home.

Assateague State Park is a must do to see the beautiful wild horses that inhabit the island. There are many wonderful and serene hiking trails as well that everyone can enjoy. Again, a pass to the state park is included with the home.

Berlin has an incredible and charming small town vibe with a vibrant main street. There are lots of great shops, restaurants, coffee shops and more to explore and enjoy.

I have included a list of some of the happenings in the area below. There is always so much to enjoy.

We require a 3-night minimum. Check out is at 10AM and Check in is at 4PM.

Property capacity is 10 guests. Please notify us ahead of time if any other guests will be visiting during your stay. Linens and towels are provided during your stay. You will find linens, blankets and pillows in the master bathroom linen closet for the sleeper sofa and pack and play.

Dogs are not allowed at this property.

Smoking is not allowed on the property, inside or outside. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please adjust the AC to your liking. Upon leaving please set to 78 degrees in the summer and 55 degrees in the winter.

We currently have beach towels, four beach chairs, cooler and beach toys to use during your stay. Please just make sure they all return to the home for the next guest to use and enjoy.
