  • Deze goed gebouwde eenheid in grindstijl ligt hoog op een met granietmos bedekt heuveltje met een jonge fruitboomgaard eronder. Met gemakkelijke toegang tot Acadia National Park en op korte afstand van Bar Harbor, is Orchard Hills Unit 1 een geweldige vakantiebestemming voor rust en ontspanning.

    De open concept woning zorgt voor een woonkamer en een grote woonkeuken met kookeiland, softclos kasten, granieten werkbladen en vinyllaminaatvloeren. Alle nieuwe apparaten omvatten een koelkast naast elkaar, elektrisch fornuis, vaatwasser en magnetron. De woonkamer biedt comfortabele stoelen, een flatscreen-tv met kabel, een dvd-speler en een glazen schuifdeur.

Quietside of Bar Harbor

Great location...away from all the tourists, but close enough to all the activities. Beautiful scenery and enough bedrooms for everyone.

Great place!

This house was very clean and cozy, as well as being well stocked. The only thing I would wish for is more seating around the island, but I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nice place. Quiet. It was very busy on the other side of the island, so it was nice to be able to unwind at the end of the day. I would stay there again.

Beautiful quiet property

Family of five with dog stayed for one week. We had plenty of space and really enjoyed having this as our base for exploring Acadia National Park. A little distant from park areas south of Bar Harbor (about a 40 minute drive for these), but we were able to get to many trails in under 10-15 minutes.

Great location!

This property was just as pictured and very clean! Very close to Southwest Harbor, we had fun at Beech Mountain, Beech Cliffs, and the Ships Harbor trail. Echo Lake is close as well. Safe and quiet location.

Couldn’t ask for a better place!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maine and in this lovely home. It was beyond our expectations, extremely clean, and very tastefully done. The property manager was efficient at responding to all of our concerns and needs. We would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this place. It was very clean. It was located close to Acadia National Park. It had 4 good size bedrooms. It also is only a few years old and in very good condition. I would definitely recommend this VRBO unit to others looking for a great place to stay.

West Tremont Townhouse

We had a very comfortable stay for a week. The townhouse is conveniently located on the Southwest Harbor side of Mount Desert Island. The beds are comfortable, there's plenty of storage for your clothing and it was great having a washing machine and dryer. Our black lab was welcome and comfortable there which was a plus.

Orchard Hills Circle on the Quiet side

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Orchard Hills Circle. Family vacation with adult children and their significant others. The house was clean and with all conveniences. The host allows pets, so we were able to vacation with our senior lab and new addition- lab puppy. Recommend hiking with your dogs at Little Long Pond in Seal Harbor.

Must stay here

This house is so clean, comfy and inviting. The pictures truly don’t do it justice. We had 5 adults and there was ample space to hang out to eat and talk plus sleep. The location is quiet yet not a bad ride to Bar Harbor, Acadia, etc. We go different places every year but if I ever wanted to go back to a place year after year …this would be it!

Awesome spot and home!

We loved this area and home! It was cozy, clean and well stocked. The only issue we had was with a fan/light in an upstairs bedroom, but the weather was comfortable enough to open windows, so fortunately it wasn't really an issue. We also loved that it had a nice grill and a fire pit so we enjoy an fire and make s'mores! We would highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Mike!

Serenity

Quiet side of island. Still close enough to amenities however. Lots of bed space but general eating space or gathering space is limited. Very comfortable beds and kitchen has all appliances and utensils needed. Nice outdoor fire pit and grille area. Oddly for a woods setting almost no bugs.

Great location for visiting Acadia

The home was clean and beautiful in a good location with easy access to all areas of Acadia. There is a lot of closet space in each of the upstairs bedrooms. The fans use remote controls to increase/decrease the speed of the fan and to turn the fan light on and off.

July Stay at 18 Orchard Hills Circle - A Hidden Gem

This property and listing were excellent. Plenty of room as there were 4 adults who spent the week hiking, trying out the restaurants, visiting the sites, and relaxing. Place was clean, modern in appearance, and conveniently located for hiking many trails if not all in Acadia, and 20 minutes to Bar Harbor and other places of interest. This property was clean, layout was functional, and had everything needed for a week of fun. Water pressure and hot water for showers for the 4 of us after a day of hiking was available. The property is on the quiet side of the island so local harbors and places to eat were not as crowded and much easier to navigate and quite frankly more enjoyable. Manager was on-site and easy to contact and talk to. He was extremely knowledgably of area and willing to share his insights as to places to visit and eat. Property was well cared for and lots of places to walk our dog safely. Lots of lobster roadside stops and good restaurants within 10 minutes of drive in nearby harbors. We are definitely considering coming back next summer to this location.
