'Staff and restaurant was great, hotel itself was fine. Not much around the area, we specifically booked this hotel because of the pool. We knew we would be travelling for 8 hours on a hot day by motorbike so wanted a hotel with a pool. Went to use the pool and it was "closed for the season" apparently closed on the 1st Sept... we were there on the 2nd.... might seem petty but that was the primary reason we booked the hotel... there is nothing noted about pool closure on Expedia or the hotel...

'Hola ha sido nuestra segunda estancia y la verdad que ha cambiado de dueños y esta algo mas dejado, la tv de la habitacion muy pequeña pero con buenas camas y nevera excelente. Piscina buena pero con muy pocas tumbonas, buffet es de menu, un primero un segundo y postre. Incluye una consumición. Retirado de la playa pero con buen acceso en coche. Espero haberle ayudado. 'Having planned a day of retail therapy in Lorca and Murcia, we decided to treat ourselves to a night away from decorating our home in Mojacar (98 wooden shutters to paint....***!). From the moment we arrived, our hosts, Steve and Deborah provided a welcoming drink followed by a delicious evening meal. We retired to a comfortable room and woke refreshed. 'El propietario muy amable y siempre disponible para cualquier duda. Las casas cuevas tienen buen espacio aunque hace mucho calor ( puede ser las fechas) en pleno agosto. La mesa de afuera espectacular para la familia pasábamos la noche afuera. La cocina de las más equipadas donde hemos ido, le falta un congelador o un frigorífico más, O uno más grande. Si quieren escuchar música recomiendo llevar un pen o música descargada en el móvil porque no hay cobertura; la zona de la piscina la pasamos...

'Villa Cocon was a sanctuary for all 12 of us, ranging from age 3 - 71! The villa was perfect with a plethora of games and activities for the children and adults alike. We have never been to this area of Spain, usually opting for culture over heat, so it was a different sort of holiday for us staying put and not venturing far! 'Ons verblijf in Puntas de Calnegre was fantastisch. In dit kleine dorpje aan de zee hebben wij genoten van de vriendelijke mensen, het prachtige weer en de geweldige omgeving. De drie baaitjes even buiten het dorp waren geweldig. Het is fantastisch om in de vroege morgen vanaf het terras van Casa Anavicente, de zon uit de zee te zien opkomen.
