'The cottage was spotless and well equipped with binoculars, piano, kitchen equipment to bake, roast and barbecue. Good for disabled as ground floor bedroom and toilet facility. We had a great break, with our daughter and dogs, enjoying walks locally.'

'Leuk huisje. Misschien niet zo geschikt voor 7 nachten. Er is veel verkeer en dat begint op den duur wel vervelend te worden. Ook de stalling van de veerboten achter het huisje was wat storend. 2 handdoeken voor 7 nachten vonden we wel wat weinig... Het servies in de kastjes was best wel groezelig. Het huisje is lekker ruim met een woonkeuken een woon/eetkamer en een slaap kamer. Schitterend uitzicht door de ramen. Er was een klein zitje buiten op de pier. Met een aardig uitzicht.'

'We hebben genoten van het fijne vakantiehuis. De inrichting was heel compleet, alles wat je maar nodig zou kunnen hebben was aanwezig. Fijne bedden met frisse lakens. Het ontvangst was heel prettig en we kregen ook informatie over de omgeving van David. Al met al echt een aanrader!!'

'Our family of 12 liked the layout of this home and the decor was lovely. The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub as well. The home has some damage to the doors and walls, wear and tear and perhaps some of it due to remodeling upgrades. The home is lovely and met our needs for an enjoyable stay.'

'Beautiful spot in the countryside with a wee stream running behind the cottage, very peaceful. We booked as 5 adults, Hotels.com simply stated 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Did not say that all but one double bed were in the same room… so my husband and 24 year old son had to take one room, and sleep in a double bed! And us girls had to take the other one. 'We spent 3 nights in the St Ninians flat upstairs. The view across the Clyde was fabulous, possibly better than the downstairs flats. The house is well placed for travelling around the island with bus stops nearby. It was kept very clean and the beds were very comfortable and the heating came on when we needed it. 'This was a nice cottage but the beds were very uncomfortable. The mattress was thin and felt like you were sleeping on the metal. I was not comfortable here and did not stay the entire time that I booked for.'

'This is an excellent house in a beautiful area. We had 15 guests ranging from 4 to 79 - the accommodation was perfect for all of our needs…it was warm, clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a particular highlight. Gillian was approachable and helpful if needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and the area.'

'De cottage is ruim, sfeervol ingericht en van alles voorzien. Er is geen WiFi of bereik dus alle gelegenheid om tot rust te komen in een prachtige omgeving. Mooie wandelingen gemaakt en veel gelezen. Er liggen overigens ook veel dvd’s in het huisje. Bij de gastheer/gastvrouw kun je terecht voor alle vragen en tips. Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad.'
