"Heel vochtig (want heel slecht geïsoleerd) vanwege de ligging net aan de oceaan. Zelfs in sommige raamloze gangen in het hotel waren muren en meubilair nat."

"Tegenover het hotel was een grote Mall. Fijn om daar te eten etc De Galle Road heeft veel winkels en banken. zo konden we snel aanschaffen wat we nodig hadden. veel gebruik gemaak van de Tuk tuk, die erg goedkoop zijn."
