'Great location for visiting a student at Semo. Lots of room for family to bond!! Hung out at the fire pit the entire time. Rugged, love that we could bring a dog . We are a dog family and our student could visit with the family dog. '

'This place is an excellent get away in Southern Illinois. Adjacent to a small lake good for kayaking and bird hunting. Recent updated in a duck hunting theme. Really nice and comfortable, both inside and on the screened in patio.'

'2nd time staying here Suzzie is a great host goes out of her way to make sure you’re happy the coffee pot went out the day after we got there didn’t look very old told her about it and that it wasn’t a big deal we just boiled some water and poured it t the filter about a half hour later she showed up with another one looking forward to our next trip there so peaceful relaxing and quiet can’t wait '

'We travelled with our adult children and spouse and infant as well as one of our dogs. The house was spacious and had everything we all needed. My husband and I always travel with our dogs and it’s hard to find a fenced in yard. This fit the bill perfectly! The kitchen and main room are open and it made gathering with everyone work easily!'

'I expected the house to look "dated" but was instead impressed by its charm. I discovered more charming decor daily. With several questions, Sandy responded immediately. I enjoyed my stay and would love to stay again if I revisit Paducah. The dogs stayed home but would have loved the fenced yard! Just check that the back gate has been latched first. Beautiful! Clean! Close to everything including downtown and winery. Thanks!'
