'The room was clean and spacious. The accommodation does not look neat from the outside. But the room itself is completely fine. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the air conditioning makes a lot of noise. Still a good hotel to stay as a stopover.'

'The outside looked nice. Our room looked clean but a hole in the wall behind the door. Air conditioner turned on and off ALL night making it hot and cold all night. Called the front desk to ask about it and they didn’t know anything. Breakfast was a joke. No place left to sit but maybe 6 small tables in a crowded little space. Juice machine was broken so nothing to drink but coffee. Sausage looked disgusting like they steamed the sausages. Only 3 were in the warmer. 5-6 people waiting...

'We had a wonderful stay at The Victorian Inn! I loved the charm and character of the beautiful old Victorian building. The only issue we had was with check-in. It would have been helpful if the inn had requested our phone number ahead of time or communicated the check-in instructions more clearly through Expedia. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!'

The shower water was hot, they had hair dryers upon request from the front desk, and plenty of towels/washcloths for us. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, no matter how short.'

'Crickets in bed rooms. Management told me it was my fault for opening the door! Funny thing is when we first walked in the crickets greeted us . Pool water was dirty. Could not see the bottom. Didn't swim because we weren't sure the water was safe. Will never stay at Hotel Cricket" again.'

'The property itself was as listed, but we spent an hour trying to find it. We had to stop and ask a resident of the area for directions. He said “good luck with that place. They’ve been shut down a few times” He also warned us about copperheads and rattlesnakes. We were never able to contact the host. VRBO offered to find us another place. We ended up staying at a hotel. VRBO said that they will compensate us for the cost '

'I enjoyed my brief stay at the property. The check in process was unusual. I talked with the property manager via Ring and the place was unlocked. Also, I was initially unsure which room I would occupy. But everything got sorted out. The location is very, very close to the street, but the building, which apparently was constructed in 1810, was so well constructed that any noises from passing traffic could not be heard.
