'The restaurant in lower level of the hotel is fabulous! The chef cooked my salmon perfectly. Beautiful views of the bay. Walkable to the marina. The hotel itself is absolutely beautifully and unique!'

'We had a room at first that had a VERY loud air conditioning unit that couldn’t be turned off. In the end the receptionist upgraded us to a room where the air conditioner could be turned off, so all was well.'

'Redelijk nieuw hotel in nette staat. Prijs - kwaliteit verhouding niet oké; veel te duur voor het gebodene. En dan ook nog $5 voor een flesje water vragen dat bij de meeste hotels gewoon complementary is... Hotel heeft houten vloeren dus elke voetstap is een etage lager te horen. Echt niet meer van deze tijd! Continental breakfast was redelijk beperkt (zeker voor deze prijsklasse) en dan ook nog flut plastic bestek en bordjes. Geen aanrader.'

'This property offered everything we were looking for. If you are looking to unplug and explore nature while enjoying modern anenities this place is for you. My husband and i enjoyed our time. Internet is spotty however the point of being there is to explore the beauty of the area. They should include a better antenna for local tv/weather. Otherwise, really wonderful well appointed place.'

'Packing up kid after four years of college. Stayed in Ashland many times the past years, first time anything was available here. Beautiful setup inches from Lake Superior. Great view, close to eats, good coffee in room, artesian well steps away. Best, coldest water you’ll ever taste!'

'The property is on Lake Superior with a woodland walking path, and has fun art inside and out. The food is healthy and delicious, all the staff are so helpful and the free programing is great. And, of course, Bayfield has a lot to offer, from national parks to great gift stores to a relaxed vibe. The ferry ride to Madeline Island is a lot of fun. And picking fruit on the orchards overlooking the city is a bonus.'

'The property is small, but very clean and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and everything was updated in the room. The property also has a deck with four chairs very nice and quiet back there. The owners were quick to respond to all of our needs, and the property is very walkable right in the middle of everything. We would definitely stay again.'

Het is geen hotel, maar alsof je bij heel goede vrienden logeert. De huisdieren (hond, poezen en ezels) maken het nog leuker!'

'Loved having the option of a camper. Joe was accommodating and I enjoyed my stay. Only problem was the AC, could not get the fan to low but, was just thankful I had AC'

'The RV had everything & more than we needed. Comfortable bed, living area, shower, AC, WiFi,(tho the whole area connectivity for us was low), available but we were too busy to use-TV, stove, grills, firewood. Joe was very welcoming and prompt to reply when we had questions. Would be happy to stay again. Loved watching the sunset light on the clouds and the moon rise. '

'This brand new cottage is beautiful and impeccable! Plenty of linens and kitchenware. It is quite spacious for 6 people. Our teenage sun slept in the sunroom and enjoyed the night sounds. The private beach is all sand and perfectly picturesque. We brought sand toys, and the kids had so much fun playing down there. They loved the swing set, too. It is just a beautiful place for a family to relax. Being a beach property, I wish there had been a washer and dryer. Or at least a dryer. There is a...

'1st time there. Very nice place and well maintained. Quiet in the mornings and evenings and the view of the Bay was gorgeous. Owner was always available for questions. We had the smallest and probably the oldest unit there and we were always comfortable. Only down part was that the early mornings drinking coffee on the deck enjoying the cool breeze from the Bay always seem to end too soon.'

'Very easy to make a reservation, room was as stated (clean, updated, and comfortable). Minutes away from downtown, restaurants and Bayfield Marina but still in a wooded area away from the traffic. Whirlpool was a pleasant addition and relaxing. Would love to stay there again, if in the area. '
