'Landed here late at night after my previous reservation in nearby Hurly didn’t answer. The man at the front desk was wonderful and even gave me some spring water from by the lake for me and my dog. Turned a really bad night around after driving 40 miles in the snow from the original “hotel”. The pool area looks really fun, I would absolutely stay here again. '

'We had a room at first that had a VERY loud air conditioning unit that couldn’t be turned off. In the end the receptionist upgraded us to a room where the air conditioner could be turned off, so all was well.'

'The room was spotless, decorated beautifully, quiet, had bathrobes to use in sauna, was prepped for our arrival both temperature and lit, had access to a coffee and beverage bar down the hall, and bottles of water in the room. Has elevator AND stairs to rooms on second floor. The Social Club downstairs was accessible inside the building, again decorated well, comfortable seating and inviting. 'The property is on Lake Superior with a woodland walking path, and has fun art inside and out. The food is healthy and delicious, all the staff are so helpful and the free programing is great. And, of course, Bayfield has a lot to offer, from national parks to great gift stores to a relaxed vibe. The ferry ride to Madeline Island is a lot of fun. And picking fruit on the orchards overlooking the city is a bonus.'
