'The perfect house! Scheduled a family get together for my 2 son’s family …11 of us. 6 children between ages 3-13 and 5 adults. First of all the communication with Jason was incredible. Prompt response for every message! The house was immaculate and above and beyond the description. So well appointed and arranged. 2 bunk rooms for the children and 3 bedrooms and baths for adults. 'Our stay at the Timber Riverhouse was amazing! Vacations for us are all about the outdoors and this home did not disappoint. The house was beautiful with lots of wonderful features like the solid beams, spiral staircase, comfy beds, fantastic deck, and even a hot tub! 'The interior of the cottage is well appointed and aesthetically pleasing. All the comforts of home. The property is beautiful - feeding the fish in the pond was an unexpected delight! Venetia, Joe and family are kind, friendly, helpful people, who helped me feel welcome and cared for while also allowing me complete privacy. I highly recommend this property!'

'As this represents our second stay at the Honeymoon Cottage we are already talking another trip to Winhall. Needless to say we enjoy the rustic appeal and location, with close proximity to the AT and Vermont’s Long Trail; close enough to Manchester for dinner; or tours of the Orvis fly rod factory, American Fly Fishing Museum or Hildene'

'It was a beautiful house only ten minutes from Stratton! Plenty of rooms with comfortable beds. They provided towels and soaps and all the necessities. However one of the reasons that we booked this house specifically was because it had a hot tub. The hot tub was unusable the entire weekend. You had to hop over a wire to get to the hot tub. It’s the perfect spot for slow mornings with coffee and a spectacular view, wooded paths to explore, a cozy campfire, and star-gazing from the hot tub. 'We had a group of 10 people, ages 17 to 70, and everyone enjoyed this house. Our goal when renting is always to find someplace cozy, but also a little bit luxurious. This house was a perfect mix! It was so nicely decorated and felt so elegant, but was perfectly welcoming and comfortable. We didn’t get to enjoy the outside space as much as we’d hoped (due to the weather,) but the inside space allowed for our entire group to be together on the main floor and still have space to spread out...

'What a wonderful property! Would highly recommend. Great location with view of the fountain during the day and fire pit at night and also close to the pool while still being private on the patio. The village was great for shopping, drinks and dining. The rental itself was immaculate and had everything you can think of or need. Fully stocked bathrooms and kitchens with plenty of linens. Host was very responsive and helped with making local plans. Highly highly recommend!'

'Excellent vacation! Our family of eight adults and a newborn enjoyed the spacious house, with bedrooms located away from the open and roomy living area. As others have mentioned, the three bedrooms on the lower level don't have AC. We were comfortable with the extra fans we brought. The community tennis court and grassy area of the park are just a short five-minute walk away, where we played pickleball and spikeball. Stratton Golf is a quick drive, and the course has rolling hills and stunning...

'This place is INCREDIBLE. Everything from the house to the hot tub to the sauna. Homeowners are incredibly nice people and this trip is what my entire year needed. 10/10 will be back. '

'The house is huge and has a giant finished basement perfect for the kids to retreat to. The kitchen had every appliance you can think of and the pizza oven worked perfectly. Hot tub outside was the icing on the cake after a day of skiing. The kids were also sledding on the golf course. The shuttle that comes right to the house made this super easy to get everyone to the mountain together. Will definitely stay again! Maybe for a golf retreat next time.'
