She picked us up from the airport, gave us a quick tour of the island pointing out restaurants and markets, and stopped at a market before taking us to her cottage. 'Wonderful place and even better hosts. Our AC went out and they put us up in another place for one night and had an entire brand new unit in one day. Also she cooked us wonderful conch fritters and the best carrot cake ever. If you want an off the beaten path true Bahamian experience this is a must do! So safe the people are wonderful. 'I almost hesitate to say how impressed we were with everything because I want to keep this gem for ourselves, but the hosts deserve the praise and the business. 'Everything about our stay with Ida in the Starfish cottage was magical and perfect. Simple, adorable accommodations in a gorgeous location overlooking the bay and marina on Black Point Cay. 'We had a great time visiting Black Point. The cottage was perfect for just me and my husband. The property manager was so helpful and friendly and always available with any questions we had or anything we needed. The cottage was very clean and had a nice view of the cove. The only issue we had was the listing did have Staniel Cay as the airport to fly into which is not accurate. Other than that, it was perfect! Highly recommends '
