'We used Boca as a base to explore. The place is small but comfortable beds, full kitchen in our unit and a full shared kitchen across the hall. Air conditioning is quiet and powerful. Power outlets by every bed. Erica the manager is very friendly and helpful. The daily rate is unbeatable. A good supermarket around the corner. We stayed 4 nights. Consider take the bus and do the bat cave.'

'Great place to stay and get some rest. Very comfy, surrounded by nature, with private small pool. It's not super near to bocas town, but the owner reccomended a transportation that was available to drive us everywhere. '

'Apartment Casa La Parc is operated by Mrs Magaly and her family, while we stayed there, they were nothing but the most welcoming people with Mrs. Magaly treating us like our own mother for the week, i couldnt think of a better place to stay with large rooms, great views and the most amazing service'

'Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. James the host answered any questions or needs we had. Be sure to ask him a lot...

'Our stay was awesome! The house was cleaned and looks like the pictures posted. The host was super nice, reasonably and kind he made sure every room in that house was nice with everything in working order, we loved the kitchen. What else can you ask for. Will recommend to family and friends, book without hesitation.'

'Aangenaam welkom, eigenares is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam, mooi verzorgd rustig zwembad, ruime kamer. Buurt iets minder aangenaam, redelijk ver van centrum, eetgelegenheid, weggestoken achter tankstation, en parkeerplaats van werkvoertuigen.'

'No hay suficientes palabras que hagan honor o lo maravilloso del sitio, la casa, la atencion. Es un paraiso terrenal. Imposible equipar mejor la casa, llevamos tantas cosas que ni falta hicieron ya que estaban en casa. El amanecer, el atardecer, el transcurrir del dia y de la noche es inexplicablemente asombroso en ese sitio. Deberia quitarles todos los puntos y calificarlos en 1 solo por quebrarnos el corazon de esa manera al tener que despedir la casa. Jejeje. Quien lea este mensaje y quiera...

'Writing this review to quiet some of the concerns of the previous reviewer… this rental was amazing! First, the views cannot be beat and the outdoor deck living space is just wonderful. It is the highest location in this particular spot of Basti, with amazing views and a breeze. It’s basically a very unique tropical jungle treehouse high above the town. 'Old Bank is a community of contrasts. The Jamaican heritage was great, people generally friendly, and genuine. The downside was the massive piles of garbage strewn along the walkways and ocean. There were also warnings about safety and thieves on the beaches. Firefly restaurant is a must go for great food and service. It is more expensive, but worth it.
