'Didnt stay for very long because we only needed overnight accomodations. The woman who called me to verify our arrival time and make sure we knew what to do for after hours checkin was very kind and helpful. Great customer service. '

'This is our 4th time booking with Melissa - our first here at Linville. This cabin is cozy and beautifully decorated and maintained. Several things to do in the area. Pet friendly but very clean home. The area seems very pet friendly too. Melissa was very responsive and helpful from checking to check out. Highly recommend! '

'For the cost of what we paid for the rental, it was fantastic. It has 2 great outdoor spaces, with a top and lower deck. It is small, but enough space for what we needed. It needs a few simple things, that I noticed others mention, like more towels. We are 60 guest and had to maneuver to get up the outdoor steps and to get in to the high ledge bath tub/showers. We found the furniture and beds comfortable. The kitchen had just about anything you could use, but a big pot to boil spaghetti. We...

'This was our second stay at the cabin my son and I loved it. We spent pretty much the whole time at the cabin just hanging out and watching movies. '

Just above the creek there is a pond which has been stocked with fishfor catch and release fishing. 'Our stay at the Great Escape Lodge was fantastic! The house is a magnificent historical structure. All rooms were ready and perfect for our arrival (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, etc...all perfect). We grilled and shared stories and good laughs on the back deck. The living room was perfect for all of us to catch up after a day of activities and share our adventures. Key for us was how easy the owners made everything for our stay. They even went the extra mile to be sure we had directions to...

'Everything was seamless from check in to check out. The owners are wonderful, even calling me a couple days before to let me know about an HVAC issue and our options surrounding that. The cabin was very clean and updated and had everything we needed and more. All of the furniture was comfortable and well maintained. Our favorite thing to do during our stay was sit on the deck to enjoy the beautiful view and watch the thunderstorms. We will definitely be returning '

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
