'We really loved the stay in Highlander Cottages. There are more cottages at this site, but it felt like we were staying alone in the forest. Although wooden constructions the quality was high, a kitchen block, small living room, dining table, comfortable beds fireplace and modern bath room. We would definitely return. '

'Wonderful place for our family trip to Devonport. Being a midwinter trip we were worried it might be cold but plenty of extra blankets were provided and heating was great. Very comfortable beds including sofa bed. Well stocked kitchen. Perfect location for exploring don railway, penguins at Lilico beach and heading into Devonport. '

'Basic, adequate accommodation. Lots of nice touches. Clean. Having the washer and dryer was great. There was some mold on the bathroom ceiling. The heater would only go on 0 or 4, so it was difficult to manage warmth. A bigger bin in the kitchen would be useful. '

'We had one night in the Devonport area after coming off the Spirit of Tasmania, and the Red Door was a wonderful place to stay. Beth's communication before our visit was prompt and helpful, and we appreciated her restaurant recommendation. We also really appreciated being welcomed to check in early since the cottage booking schedule allowed for that. Breakfast was very nice--just what we'd requested.Definitely recommend the Red Door!'

'Evan was a great host and communication was prompt and clear. The were some beers and wine in the fridge as well and milk and bottled water. All very much appreciated. The accomodation was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.'
