'We thought the cottage was quiet and secluded. Everything was easily accessible and the porch was perfect for a morning cup of coffee. The firepit was far enough from the house to not make everything smell Smokey. Wildlife was beautiful to include a skink (lizard), deer, cat and a screech owl at night. The Lakeside Cafe at the end of the road was absolutely delicious! Pizzas were amazing and cinnamon rolls and breakfast casseroles were scrumptious before heading out to the caves. '

'I would love to add the amazing reviews! My little family had the best experience. It was unlike anywhere we have ever stayed and I’m so glad we chose to do something different! We had plenty of privacy but also had the help of the property owners when we needed it. My kids loved the experience of feeding the animals and cooking food over the fire. 'This is a really nice home on a beautiful piece of property. The large deck is a wonderful place to hang out and enjoy the view. The living area gave the kids plenty of space to play. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our granddaughter is already asking to go back!'

'From check in to check out we had a great time. There are 98 stairs going down to the lake so be ready to exercise. It’s worth it! The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The property had everything we needed and more. Beach towels and life jackets were available to use which was really nice. It was dog friendly with gates on the deck. 'Wonderful property with great amenities. The beds were so comfortable and and the included games were an Amazing little gift. We had 4 teenage boys, my daughter and myself for 3 nights. Everything you need to cook. Just know that it is about 25 minutes to the nearest grocery store. There is an Amish farmers stand about 15 minutes away with really great priced fresh produce.'

'Nice property in beautiful area. Well kept, furnished and clean except for some cobwebs here and there up high. Loved the view and furnishings on the balcony. The listing says "5 min walk to SEE the lake", but be prepared that you can't actually get to the lake, you can just see it from behind someone else's property.We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.'

'Our hosts were wonderful. Great communication, clear instructions. The house was immaculate and treats were left for our dog . We enjoyed the yard , the hot tub and all the amenities the house afforded. We visited Mammoth Cave and other attractions during our stay.'
