'This was one of the best resorts/hotels I have ever stayed at. 10 rooms only, and everything you can request, wish, dream of is all included in the price. You are treated like the most important people in the world, and the whole time feel like you have this paradise to yourself. Everything they do is done with quality and passion. 'We enjoyed the hotel's amazing view from our room, the infinity pool and great customer service. One negative I could say is the wifi internet from our room is no good. However Wifi access from restaurant and reception office is fairly good. I might add that the noise of creaking bed is a bit annoying. Overall it was a great stay.'

'The pictures posted at Hotels.com is totally different from the real or actual picture of the resort. The bridge is collapsed, no water in the swimming pool, no power or electricity, no backup power, limited food, rooms not well maintained, rooms not safe, jacuzzi is rusted, overall rate: worst hotel or resort. 'Naast het mooie strand en het fijne zwembad maakt vooral de eigenaar die ook op de accommodatie woont en de medewerkers er elke dag een feest van om er te verblijven. Veel royale en vooral verrassende “ Koreaanse supplementaries” bij ontbijt en het diner. Op de kamer altijd gratis water. Bij aankomst grote fles prima wijn als welkomstdrank met een schaal vers fruit. Scooter te huren bij de receptie en binnen 5 min in Generaal Luna. '

'Staying in the watergate hotel in Butuan city was a disappointing experience. At the crowded front desk they announced they had to charge 1000 pesos for a blood spot in one towel. My wife felt already bad she left a blood spot on her towel due to her menstrual cycle. But felt worse after receiving a penalty for it. We are decent people and regular travelers but never experienced this humiliation at the crowded front desk. '

'Nieuw hotel in Butuan maar de service is bedroevend slecht. Er is geen leiding aanwezig in het hotel waardoor alles een chaos is. De service in het hotel is slecht. Het lijkt een business in een business. Bij het schoonmaken van de kamers laat het personeel de deur openstaan met als gevolg een kamer vol muggen in een land waar dengue volop aanwezig is geen fijne gedachte.
