'The house was very nice. It is on the edge of a very small town and so is isolated. My wife and I went birding at Swan Lake for our anniversary and spent the night here. The host was super nice and communication was easy. We were very pleased with our stay. If your looking for an out- of- the- way escape, I would highly recommend this house. On a side note, we had dinner at River Bottoms Brewing Company in Carrollton. I highly recommend it as well. '

'My sisters and I had a great time at The Highland House. It was peaceful and private and just what we were looking for to relax and reconnect. The house was extremely clean and well-supplied. The pool was so beautiful and we enjoyed having it to ourselves. Brad and his wife even brought us "snacks" to feed the cows. So fun to be able to see them up close. 'Stayed three nights in this unique cabin surrounded by cornfields and overlooking a beautiful lake with a dock. Coffee in the mornings on the dock listening to the bullfrogs and watching rabbits frolic. Plenty of room in the cabin for a family and each level is very private. The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and better than expected. Debbie and Dennis are great hosts and responded to everything quickly. Also rented the event barn for an anniversary party. I highly recommend the cabin and event...

'Unit had everything we needed but kind of sparse. Could use some mirrors in bedroom and small table on other side of queen bed which was noisy and not too comfortable. Bathroom floor very squeaky. It was ok but could be improved.'

'My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at this house. It was a cute little house, decorated nicely, with three bedrooms with clean, comfy beds and a kitchen stocked with some essentials, notably coffee. 'We had a lovely stay at this property. I was sharing the accommodation with a long time quilting buddy. This was her first time visiting Hamilton and MSQC, my second. The apartment is easy to find and within walking distance of the shops though we chose to drive. Our apartment was very clean, quiet, tastefully appointed and comfortably slept both of us in the separate bedrooms. The beds are comfy! Check in/out was seamless. Katie is an excellent host manager. 'Property was a definite upgrade vs a basic hotel room (at a similar price point). We appreciated having the extra space and having a full kitchen! Close proximity to downtown which made life easy when wanting to get out and explore. '
