'Superbe endroit! Vue à couper le souffle dans une belle grande maison d’un décor tiré du passé. Le coucher du soleil sur notre terrasse de la cabine 6 était splendide. Bon déjeuner fourni directement à la cabine. Cuisine complète et salle de bain correcte. Il faut marcher en pente pour s’y rendre avec les bagages, la communication a été plus difficile car je ne parle pas portugais, il n’y a pas de réception, il y a peu de restaurants aux alentours. 'Un très bon établissement dans lequel nous avons été accueillis par le propriétaire qui parle parfaitement français. Il a pris le temps de nous expliquer le domaine et ses environs. La villa très récente est très bien équipée pour passer un excellent séjour au calme. La piscine était également très bien. Pour le petit déjeuner, le propriétaire était aux petits soins selon nos désirs. Nous n'avons hélas pu que passer une nuit mais nous reviendrons.'

'Paradise! Wow! We were not expecting what a wonderful place this is! It should be labeled a 'resort' more than a hotel. I would have expected to pay three times more for a place like this. It was the most quiet hotel I have ever stayed and the view was incredible. I have nothing bad to stay about this super clean, well kept, hidden gem. Thank you!'

'It was a cute little apartment. Type unit was a huge balcony overlooking the river, which was beautiful. Had a very well kept kitchenette, a little living room area, bedroom, and bathroom. It was well decorated and a very pleasant surprise. I would definitely return'

'Charming beautifully decorated cottages. We enjoyed fire place, deck, library, and pottery workshop. There is a delicious healthy breakfast served in the cafe every morning. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We hiked to a nearby village. We will definitely come back. '

'Ligging is prachtig. Wij hebben genoten van het uitzicht en de ruimte in het appartament. Enige dat ontbrak waren wat praktische zaken, zoals voldoende stoelen op balkon, handoekenrek, bekers en borden. Een en ander werd snel opgelost door vriendelijk personeel. Top.'

'Prima vakantie gehad. We hebben 2 weken genoten. Eigenaars respecteren je privacy en je merkt niet eens dat ze er zijn. Mooie uitvalbasis om dingen te bekijken, Lissabon (1,5 uur), Porto (2 uur) en Coimbré (circa 1 uur) met de auto. Zeker aan te bevelen. '

'This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. '

'Very nice property and well kept. Really enjoyed it. Shame it didn't have a Restaurant on-site, which means that one has to plan to go somewhere to get a meal.'

"De suite die we hadden was in het nieuwe gedeelte van het hotel. Dit gedeelte ziet er top uit. De suite was geweldig. Geen idee hoe de kamers in het oude gedeelte zijn. Ontbijtzaal weinig sfeervol en ontbijtbuffet was OK. Goed werkende wifi en prima parkeren (overdekt en gratis). Bij aankomst ca 35 minuten moeten wachten in een rij voordat ik kon inchecken. Het was verschrikkelijk druk. Volgens de baliemedewerker kwam dit omdat het hoogseizoen is. "
