'This was the perfect place for a group of five overworked, overwhelmed, ladies who were also overdue for a getaway. The space was cozy with beautiful views. Secluded, peaceful, and away from the hustle. The details of reburbished, reclaimed wood mixed with modern yet comfortable furniture was a perfect setting to relax and enjoy each other’s company. 'We were in Roxboro to visit a relative and stayed here.When we arrived, the unit was neat and clean. There are two twin beds in the living area, but it is very spacious and not crowded. The kitchen area is stocked with dishes and cookware. The laundry machines in the bathroom are a plus. My husband and grandson enjoyed fishing from the shore and floating pier. They caught several blue gills and one large bass. I think the water is OK for swimming or floating in a tube, but we did not have...

'Very nice home, clearly updated and super clean. All the amenities you could want (wifi, Keurig, Smart TV, updated baths, etc.) and just steps to the lake. Very secluded and quiet - we could see SO many stars each night. Lots to love about the place. Definitely recommend. '

'The home is older, but the beds are comfortable, the home is adequately furnished, and the kitchen is fully stocked. The location is close to so many restaurants and stores - perfect for using delivery services such as Door Dash. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The owners were responsive.'

'Property was perfect for our needs. Rooms are large. Backyard was awesome for our dogs. Bring a towel to clean paws as it does get pretty muddy back there! Over all it was a fantastic place to stay while visiting our daughter for the holidays.'
