'Everything about staying Le Soleil d'Or on Cayman Brac was excellent. The room was spacious and very well maintained. We ate several meals in the resturant and were delighted every time. The property is a great place to be and the cultivation being done there quite fascinating. Regarding the staff, everyone was engaging, helpful, and conscientious. 'Condo was rundown and not very clean - it reeked (possibly due to unresolved water leaks?), only one shower had warm water, the freezer couldn’t be opened, the fridge sounded like it was about to blow, etc. Dishes had to be washed Before use, kitchen floor had sticky patches (?). Not great for families who like to cook/eat at home. Grounds were well kept, location was quiet and peaceful and the snorkeling off the beach was awesome!'

'Host was very helpful arranging taxis, great, private spot. Great snorkeling right out front of the house. Hermit crabs everywhere. Not a soul on the beach, no noise from neighbors. This is the perfect spot if you’re looking for solitude (which I usually am). You definitely want to rent a car. There are only 2 taxis on the island, and the shoulders on the road aren’t ideal for walking. '
