'Wow! Fantastic stay, superior staff, super friendly, and absolutely peaceful. The lodge is small, about 8 units, in the middle of a reserve with tranquility. The food was absolutely amazing. Animals on site and inspiring. Make a call to be let in the gate when you arrive.'

Location location location... Fantastic views over the river, many elephants, zebras and many other animals... what a wonderful place to be... We did not want to leave and will be back fir sure!!!!!! 'Bereits an der Hauptstraße B300 gibt es eine Beschilderung zur Lodge. Die ca. 70 km lange Anfahrt erfolgt über eine Sandpiste, die nur mit einem Allradfahrzeug zu bewältigen ist. Die Begrüßung war sehr persönlich und das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten wurden sehr individuell durchgeführt. Die Ausstattung des Luxuszeltes war hervorragend. Alles super sauber. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Alle Getränke auch tagsüber waren inklusiv.'

'Le point positif est que le logement n'est pas cher. Par contre, la qualité va avec. La chambre était OK mais pas la salle de bain : le lavabo était rempli de poussière, la douche s'évacuait très lentement et la chasse fuyait... Ils avaient proposé de nous préparer un diner mais une fois sur place, on a appris qu'ils n'avaient rien prévu Par contre, le petit déjeuner était très bien'

Has no furniture, except for a bed , a night stand and a small table. - A bar is advertised, but there is none. - I don't think there is any cleaning service. - There is a swimming pool, without water. We expected a basic site, but it isn't even that. This site is advertised as an option for non-campers, but it really is not suited for that. It has nothing. Bring your own food that you can eat cold if you do not have camping equipment. Be aware there is no table, so bring your own table and chairs. Bedsheeds were clean and smelled fresh. However pillow was still wet on the down side. The ants loved it. Room is really small. No bags fit inside unless really small. If you do not want to camp, but need overnight arround Kubu Island then this is probably your only option. Next time I would prefer to plan differently. This was an overpriced joke."
