'Had a terrific stay at this property. Room was cozy and was literally feet from the beautiful lake. Front desk was friendly and welcoming. Lively restaurant and bar patio right off your patio deck. Only drawback for us was being on the first floor, not having the enhanced view of the lake. Definite plans to return. '

'We accidentally left our personal laundry bag (with soap and dirty clothes in it!) we didn’t notice it until the 2nd morning after our check out. We were going to be returning home via the route the hotel is on. I called to see if the housekeeper happened to find it. She did! They held it at the front desk and we picked it up on our return trip!!'

'The lobby area and public areas of the hotel have been beautifully restored in this historic Frank Lloyd Wright hotel. Difficult to find a meal on Sunday since the hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday as were most places nearby. Fortunately the Thai Bistro was open 2 blocks away and was excellent. The room was generally comfortable but needs to have some simple amenities to make it more practical. There was no luggage rack making it difficult to retrieve items from luggage. I asked at the...

'I always like staying here. My only complaint is that it smelled of "old" cooking oder. It may have been closed up for a while so no fresh air was available or it may have been coming from one of the other units. This is the first time I have ever noticed an unpleasant odor.Otherwise all was great.'

'Amelia has thought of every detail. The cottage is beautiful, yard impeccably landscaped. Includes all the little things you miss from home, fan next to the bed, extra towels, grill, cookbooks, so many little touches included you don’t always have with a VRBO property! She allowed us to check in early, as we were coming for a wedding in town & needed to get ready. Communicated when needed. Will most definitely stay again when we’re in Clear Lake. Thank you! '
