'We came to Murphy for a wedding in the mountains and this home away from home was perfect. The owners were very accommodating, very easy to reach if we needed anything and the house was perfect for our family. The yard was amazing for our dog and it was nice to wake up to a quiet environment and spend time together. We would stay here again! '

'We had a great stay at this location! Plenty of space. Beds were comfortable. Outside area was great! Host was very friendly and responded quickly. We were here for my son’s engagement and already rebooked it for the wedding!'

'The relaxing weekend retreat was made better by the cozy farmhouse. The surrounding nature and landscape made it very easy to relax and enjoy time away. I have spent much time in similar VRBO locations throughout the states and have to throw a shout out for the cleanliness of this location. If you are heading here, make sure to spend your morning coffee break with the deer and local animals.'

'This property is fantastic. I love the bee theme. It's so cute. It's relaxing to be able to hear the river. I just wish we had had more time so we could have sat and enjoyed it. We are not new to the area. We chose this property because it's dog friendly. We went back and forth as to whether or not. We appreciate that the host was patient and gracious. We hope to return soon. '

'The cabin is beautiful. The owners were great to work with and very accommodating. Sitting on the porch was very relaxing . Seeing all the deer was so cool, but you needed to be very careful driving with all of them!'

'We absolutely loved our stay in Phil and Karen’s cabin. We felt right at home the moment we arrived. There were so many amenities for us during our stay. From toothbrushes to firewood for the fire pit. Pretty much anything you could think of, they had. The remotes and everything was labeled to make usage smooth and simple. The Murphy bed was a nice addition to the cabin and it was really cool to see how much space is saved when it’s not in use. We would definitely love to stay here again. '

'We had a very enjoyable 5 night stay at this lovely home. The host was easy to communicate with and provided many extras, such as plenty of toilet paper, kitchen trash bags, Tide pods, a wide assortment of coffee and teas and a free bottle of wine. My 14 year old grandson kayaked in the river everyday. The location was close to town, making it easy to get provisions at Ingles and Walmart. 'Our stay and the property itself couldn’t have been better. The home is on the top of a mountain and yet is somehow excluded but a quick drive into town. The views were amazing and we were lucky to see the leaves change colors. There was a variety of beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy. The inside was so spacious and incredibly well stocked. 'This property had everything we needed and then some! And the hosts were very responsive to help with anything else that arose. We shopped, ate out, dined in, hiked, played family games, and used the WiFi to stream a cartoon every now and then for the kiddos. Overall it was a memorable way to ring in the new year! 'Before arrival the owner, Michael, let us know details with directions, access codes etc. He was extremely helpful & hospitable! He has a dog and I was traveling with my monsters, they had a blast with her!! The renovated barn is authentic, cozy, comfortable, full of amenities and very nice vibe. We didn't need for anything! Im definitely going back! '
