'I don't have anything negative to say about Holiday Lodge. They've come a long way in the last year. It used to be a hotel filled with trouble and bad news. The kind of place you didnt want to leave your car unattended. But the owner has gotten rid of the rifraf and straightened things out. They've done a 180 and made it an enjoyable experience. Hats off to them for turning things around. 5 stars all the way around.'

'What a peaceful welcoming place to call home base while we explored the area. Galena has fun with their piece of Kansas Rte 66 history, and the part they played in the movie "Cars".Our hosts provided information on things to do and a clean, comfortable experience. We'd like to visit again to see what's next for the Mother Road in Galena! Would definitely hope to stay here again!'
