'This place offered the perfect getaway from the city, and I loved having the kayaks available for use! The house was clean and comfortable, and had everything I needed to cook. The outdoor area down by the river was peaceful despite the nearby highway, and when the water level is low earlier in the day you can walk the kayaks down to the water. Note that the current gets much stronger in late afternoon and water level rises, so don’t get stuck paddling home upstream. Learned that the hard way!'

'We stayed at this beautiful property winter of '25. Although lake properties are traditionally a summer getaway we loved every minute of our winter retreat. We were traveling for a curling tournament and loved waking up to the beautiful lake view. We enjoyed early morning walks on the frozen lake playing fetch with our dog Cooper. 'I rented Marnie's apartment for our stay in Chippewa Falls. The apartment is beautiful with very unique lighting and fixtures. There was plenty of room for us to eat and hang out. The girls appreciated the full length mirrors and lighted mirrors. We also appreciated the desk area that we used to apply our makeup. The location was perfect with restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. We were five minutes from the Leine Lodge where we attended a wedding party for my son. '

'Stayed with my parents, siblings and their families. Plenty of room and beds for everyone. Kitchen was stocked with very nice pots, pans, and food storage. Having two fridges was great! The lofted space with the bonus room with beds was awesome for the kids to have their own hangout space. Access to the water was perfect and so close the beach and park worked out so well! We would definitely book again!!'

'This was our 4th time staying at this house and every time the house has been wonderful. The house was very clean and well maintained. There are lots of extra towels, blankets, paper products, kitchen items, etc. which is very nice. We have stayed in other houses that skimp on these items which is a pain.We extended out stay and Karen was very prompt in replying and is an excellent host.
