Von hier hat man einen idealen Ausgangspunkt nach Stirling und Edinghburgh und kehrt anschließend in eine herrliche Idylle zurück. Die Gastgeber sind sehr warmherzig und offen und haben uns wertvolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt und unsere Ausflüge gegeben. 'Just had a three night stay here and couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. A good location for visiting Edinburgh and Stirling although plenty to do in the local area as well. The host Lorna was very close by and the local pub being next door also helped. Would highly recommend and will visit again for sure. '

'Cottage was excellent, with an amazing welcoming grocery pack which was really appreciated and unexpected. Cottage was next to a small river which after the rain turned into a swollen river. Everyone was really friendly, will be returning and recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the area.'

'A lovely country venue. Nice and private yet contact with the hosts gave immediate result. Thought the weather was very wet it was easy to get the cabin up to temperature. All appliances in de caben were modern en well kept. Lovely hosts. Very open to questions and suggestions. Local pub great for food and in walking distance. Activities as walking, golf, cycling galore. Big shops within 20 min drive. I definitely plan to come back'

'Had a great stay over new year at the properties. One family in one bungalow and us in the other. Property was clean and fresh. Beautiful welcome items left for us by the owners, who were lovely and couldnt do enough for us. Woke up to the spectacular views and literally could have sat and watched the horses all day! The lodges were cosy and warm. We all loved it. The only thing i would have preferred was a slightly earlier check-in time, perhaps 3pm instead of 5pm. But thats just wee personal...

'The house is in the center of important historic sites in the East of Scotland, making your stay easy. The house has everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped, there are plenty of bathrooms, the beds are comfortable, etc. The garden room invites you to socialize and enjoy the surroundings at the same time. We look back on a good time in a very pleasant house.'

'Communicated a number of issues with my one night stay to Hotels.com and the property did not respond to these issues. "Very friendly, clean and welcoming hotel. Lots of parking space and a excellent restaurant with a cosy bar.. Although close to the airport a good connection could be made with the Edinburgh city-center via public transport or car. Room was spacious and well kept with a proper bed to sleep. This hotel is well worth the money with a shopping-mall close by, although transport is needed to reach as a main road has to be crossed. The breakfast was not enjoyed as we were on our way early, but as airline crew are also staying here it should have a certain standard."

"Formula 1-achtig hotel, dus eenvoudig, en goed genoeg als je niet komt voor luxe. Toilet en douche op de gang. Aangrenzend twee restaurants en aan de overkant een pub. Er is ook een selfcatering kitchen, dus als je koffie wil maken, brood wil roosteren of een ready meal in de magnetron stoppen, dat kan allemaal. Bestek, serviesgoed en koelkast aanwezig. Gesitueerd in de driehoek Gasgow/Stirling/Edinburgh."
