Kies je hotel in Clay County

'There is a lower parking lot and they take you up in a kawasaki mule. My wife's RAV4 AWD would have had trouble with that road. Hosts are johnny on the spot and the cabin was seclusion heaven. Just the right mix of outback charm but with all the modern amenities. I will be making this an annual stop for sure.'

'I keep coming back. Must be good'

'We really appreciated a nice, comfortable place to stay that made it possible to travel with multiple wolfhounds. The house is spacious & felt like a place you could actually live. The floors aren’t slick (a definite plus for our older hound). There are great areas to walk dogs. And the view from the back of the house is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.'

'great spot!'

'Amazing large house for a big family or group. The house has several places to sit & enjoy each others company inside & out. It is clean, well maintained and fully supplied with anything & everything you could want or need! We really appreciated the welcoming home feel!'

'Absolutely beautiful grounds and lodge. Ryan was fantastically accommodating and did everything he could to make our stay perfect. We’re coming back.'

'We had a great stay. House is old with wavy floors that creak and moan but we loved that. The first floor only has 1 bedroom and the stairs are very steep and slippery so be careful going up and down. Good thing we only went up to go to bed then the rest of our time was on the back deck or by the river. The boys loved running up and down the river trying to hook another big one. Too bad it was too cold to throw our inner tubes in and drift down stream. We would stay again.'

'Cute little cabin, nice and clean with great ac and ample parking for my boat trailer for our trip to the Summersville area'

'Not too far from the lake, a bit of a trek to the New River Gorge. The place was very clean with most of what you’d need. Communication was excellent. A/C worked very well!'

'Barbara was God sent, our earth angelMy husband and ai were celebrating our 20year anniversary. We only had two days, and we loved it. Was very secluded! Very beautiful! Peaceful! Our dog loved it too!'

'Traveled with husband and 3 little kids for 3 nights, very clean and accommodating and has everything you would need the only thing I had to bring was my own beach towels (specified in the info) own laundry detergent and dryer sheets which I prefer anyway and obviously toiletries. Having the washer and dryer was nice didn't have to do laundry when I returned home. Cabin blankets, towels and washcloths, dishsoap, handsoap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish and cookware provided. Having the grill...

'Cabin was clean and cozy. It’s off the beaten path for sure, so it’s also very private. The host provided some snacks, which were very appreciated because we were late getting in the first night. We loved the large shower. It is a little out of the way and during our visit it rained a lot so I’m glad we drove a 4x4 just to make turning around at the cabin a little better.'

'The cabin was clean very nice bathroom, easy to find from the road'

'Quiet, brand new house, nice place 5 mins to lake. We took our boat and had lots of room to park.'
