'Although there was an issue with the electronic door lock, our host Karen went over and above to get us settled in. The cottage is tastefully decorated, has all mod cons, super comfy bed and is spotlessly clean, very centrally located and easy to find.Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Cooktown.'

'An oasis in the rainforest. Enjoyed long warm soak in most glorious outdoor bathtub, after refreshing cool dip in natural waterhole at creek. Lovely, quaint cottage with architectural flair, and well appointed, while being sustainable. Just gorgeous and central to all tourist attractions in Daintree.'

'Amazing place! Has everything you need except cellular service - but let’s be honest you don’t need that either. Host was great and had suggestions on things to see nearby. The on property swimming hole was so nice for a hot summer day. Visit the insect museum nearby if it is open. '

'What a great way to experience the wonders of the Daintree. A supremely private cottage with a view overlooking your own tropical valley. Off grid with most of the comforts of home and those that are missing, you really don't need. Located within easy reach of all the tourist spots it's a rainforest delight.'

'Perfect location. Close to everything but you feel totally secluded as well! The wide deck with hammock was our favourite place to chill.'

'Great stay. Beautiful surroundings. Good location. Only negative is the main bed is quite hard and uncomfortable. Also no air-conditioning but the home still got a nice breeze. '
