'After our original VRBO booking fell through only 2 hours before we were to check in, we found this house and amazing owner who worked magic to get us in at the last minute.This was far better than what we originally booked! The house was spacious, clean, centrally located, and had every amenity we could have wished for--including a special basket of dog toys for our pets! Lots of cleaning supplies and extra toiletries made it easy to maintain the house while we were there. The outdoor shower...

'This is our 5th time staying at this house. We brought our 19' boat and kept it at the dock. We fished the sound, the swamps, and offshore out of Ophelia Inlet which is located about 4 miles from the dock. We caught and grilled fish. We brought our crab pots and had crabs every other day. We also cast netted shrimp to eat. This house is a perfect fish camp on the sound!The owners life next door and offered help for anything we needed and were very friendly.We have already booked our stay...

'Our family really enjoyed our stay at this little house on the water. The kayak was a hit with our little ones who also loved to watch the crabs scurry. Swansboro, with cute restaurants and shops, is only minutes down the main road on which the house sits. Would definitely recommend! '

'We had a great time staying here. The place was very clean and conveniently located near the path to the beach. The beach was so clean and the people we met were very nice. I’d like to stay again, just a little longer though. There are plenty of cool things to do, we just ran out of time. The property manager checked in with us to make make sure we had everything we needed and answer any questions we may have had. It was a great overall experience.'

'Comfortable beach house. My family loved the amount of space inside, the location to the beach was also a major bonus. My only downside was that all the beds, except 1, had plastic mattress covers, which made sleeping difficult. But for the price, the house is perfect. '

'We have stayed in some wonderful homes in Emerald Isle and my brother described it as being in OZ and following the yellow brick road, aka the winding beach walk! With every turn and door you opened there was something wonderful Every room was beautiful and had what we needed, baby things, kid games and bunk room and an elevator for my 86 year old mother! Dance parties in the pool, outdoor space galore, decks, decks and patio! wonderful warm ocean of course! We plan to come back our next...

"Mooi gelegen hotel langs onze roadtrip aan de oostkust. We waren met drie personen en hadden een kamer met dubbele bedden geboekt. De kamer zelf was boven verwachting ruim en compleet. Wat wel tegenviel was de staat van de bank, daar zakte je half doorheen, en de vloer was plakkerig en vochtig. Mogelijk iets met de aurco of overnatig zeepgebruik bij schoonmaken. Helaas iets waar we pas achter kwamen nadat we ons hadden gesettled. Omdat we maar één nacht bleven hebben we dit door de vingers gezien. Verder prima verblijf, goede bedden en uitstekend geslapen."
