'This is a great getaway!!! John is a great host. The caboose is just the way it is described. It rained most of the time we were there, so we were unable to take advantage of the grill and firepit, but we still enjoyed the birds singing and the quietness. There are many things to see/do in the area and we had a fun time.'

'We were looking for a quiet weekend getaway to relax and we found it. The cabin was quiet and secluded, surrounded by trees and wildlife. We spent most of the weekend sitting in the screened-in porch and enjoying the breeze. The cabin itself was clean and well-stocked with all we needed. The owners left coffee and even a bottle of wine for our anniversary. We will definitely be back. '

'I loved the property except for one thing - there were a lot of wasps around the outside. I got stung the last day we were there walking out the door. Otherwise, phenomenal stay!'

'Great little place just off the main highway. Easy to find and ready for a relaxing weekend. We had 4 people and everyone fit great. Plenty of parking for all the bikes and a shower to wash all the bugs and road debris off from the 700 miles we put on. Will be back soon.'

'The Firefly Cottage was very well appointed with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We had plenty of dishes, pots/pans, glasses, eating and cooking utensils. The beds were comfortable and lots of clean towels in kitchen and bath; plenty of TP, kleenex, salt and pepper, and a few other kitchen items to use. There were 3 TV's! We did have difficulty getting the sound loud enough on the TV, couldn't figure it out. We could have called owner and I'm sure they would have helped...

'Beautiful cabin, location and stay at the Arcadian in the wonderful Driftless region! Enjoyed the quiet valley and nearby creek while having coffee and reading on the porch! Cabin was very clean and had all we needed for a relaxing stay! So many great things to do in the surrounding area, visting the Kickapoo Valley Reserve to hike and bike, Viroqua, wineries, and kayking on the Kickapoo River! Thanks for a great stay!'
