'Great stay overall. Except one little hiccup with the code to the keypad. We tried contacting the host but it was very late and she didn’t get back to us until the morning. There should be an emergency number in the future just in case. We will definitely stay again. '

'Our family just recently visited the Secret Slough. It was the secluded retreat that we hoped it would be. Very, very private! We thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming entrance with the sound of the waterfall as we arrived to the house. The house is very spacious and suited our family perfectly. 'Spent the long 4th of July weekend here. Ricky was the best host. I had many questions leading up to check in and he was very responsive. The house is beautiful and well quipped! Location is great! The neighbor allowing us to use their drive way to get to the dock was a life saver and their fireworks show was lit! Highly recommend this house!'

'Property was great and house was awesome! Couches were really comfortable and the full kitchen was really helpful. Great location right off Smith Lake and even had some kayaks to use (we appreciated the life jackets as well). Only recommendation I would have to make it better would be to add a pier so you don't have to deal with getting mud everywhere when getting kayaks in the lake! '
