'As I approached the motel from the street it looked as I would expect, then I had to turn around, as I went past it, and I then saw it from the side. The rooms I saw had broken windows, and the air conditioning units were broken. I decided then to not stay there, so drove on and stayed in another town'

'My hosts were very cordial and kind. The bunkhouse was enjoyable for a relaxing break with a wood burning stove and a dark sky to view the stars. Their ranch dogs were well trained to engage with me when I wanted to spend time with them. '
