'Every time we arrive in Tanzania we prefer to spend a few days in Serena just to relax after the long journey and before continuing our trip through the county. We know already a lot of people working there and when we arrive in the hotel it is just the same as coming home '

'We had stayed at Serena's before although it had been a while. All the same, we were warmly welcomed as if we were old friends and were even upgraded to a more comfortable room. We enjoyed a great meal at the a la carte restaurant and the chef came for a chat to our table. Swimming pool lovely as ever. All in all a very relaxing stay before our flight back home.'

'Hotel is wonderful. The walk from the ferry across the street was a crowded pushy jumble. Was relieved to enter the beautiful, quiet hotel. Saturday barbecue buffet was great as was breakfast. A big step up from our Serengheti tent!'

'My wife had previously stayed in this hotel hence the reason why i booked it. What can i say the staff are all sooper amazing and so friendly. From the guards to the waitresses to reception to the managers and senior managers you are all a credit to the running of this hotel. The room is amazing and has everything that was needed when travelling with an infant. Look forward to my visit again next week before flying home '

'The owners and employess work really hard to ensure you have a pleasant and enJOYable stay. You can have dinner at the hotel or directly across the street at their restaurant. I appreciated that they don't play loud music late into the night. The breakfast was really good: there's juice, hot food, cereals and baked goods. Dinner is a bit expensive, but that is to be expected at a hotel along the coast. BW does a decent job of keeping their area of the beach clean--folks have to do a better job...

'The staff was great. Irene at the front desk was fantastic. So friendly and helpful. She gave me a fruit tray when I was sick. She arranged all of my transport. So nice. Dorcas and Ritha were excellent too. Thomas, a waiter at the restaurant was superb. Mpendo was an excellent housekeeper. Elizabeth was a very good housekeeper too. The food was great at the restaurant, the beach was very nice. My room was really spacious and quiet.'

'Good stay at the Slipway hotel as usual. Despite the remodeling ongoing on 1st floor of the hotel, no issues. The internet wifi is weak (either no connection or very limited bandwidth) - this needs some improvement to meet the 2018 standards ! Staff are all stars and very welcoming. The Slipway area is a pleasant place to stay. '

'The location of TSA on the Msasani Peninsula is ideal for exploring Slipway, taking the ferry to Mongoyo Island, dive trips, Coco Beach, restaurants, shopping. All walkable during the day, and easy access by Poa at night. The apt was perfect. Had everything I needed. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is minimally equiped, but useful. Furnished with Tanzanian-made furniture, which is a nice touch. Authentic. Local. Safe. Very friendly and helpful front desk/concierge 24/7. I highly...
