'We stay in a lot of homes, and this kitchen was so inclusive. Multiple coffee makers - every pot & pan you could ever need, and glassware, plates, and utensils were very nicely stocked. Pool was fabulous after long days, and salt water made it even better. Easy walking to multiple restaurants and things to do. I completely recommend this place.'

'Chika is a very gracious and communicative host! She was also accommodating and super friendly. The home itself fit the needs of our group for a one-night stay. There was plenty of room and the bedrooms and bathrooms were equipped with everything we needed. Chika even included toiletries that came in handy for some of us. 'We’re a family of 6 and had an amazing weekend stay here while visiting Hershey Park! The penthouse apartment was very clean and accommodated us perfectly, with two bunk beds for our four kids 10 and under, and the queen bed for my husband and I, a full kitchen with cooking supplies, smart TV, and full bathroom. 'The home is in the middle of nowhere so if you are looking for a quiet place to stay, this is it. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but as soon as you walk in your energy changes. It’s beautiful. It’s decorated nicely, smells good, and looks exactly like the photos. One thing I would say that needs to be addressed is the way the water comes out the shower head. 'This property is all that it say that it is. The home is cleaned and decor is very creative. What you see online is the true painted picture of the home. The communication was a 10/10. 'Beautiful getaway close to Gettysburg, Hershey, Harrisburg in addition to on site kayaking, tubing, fishing and basically any other activities. Yet, if want peace and quiet can relax by the manmade running waterfall in the hammock or sit in the Adirondack chairs looking at the Susquehanna River. 'Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.'
