'We had a fabulous time here. The property is excellent, check in a breeze, location idyllic and hosts fantastic.We really had a great relaxing time. The home is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. We used the slow cooker which I wasn't expecting them to have. A great stock of board games too. It is truly a home away from home. Hot tub was brilliant, my daughter loved it. We will definitely be back but for longer. '

'We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. 'Me and my partner spent the long bank holiday weekend here with our three month old son and dog and we really couldn’t have asked for more. The caravan was clean, spacious, and in a perfect location. We had a 10 minute walk one way to Prestatyn beach which was nice and quiet and offered a beach hut bar, with a 10 minute walk the other way into the small town centre which boasted a good range of bars, pubs and shops. Talacre beach was just a 10 minute drive away and was perfect for our dog who...

'My husband loves steam trains so staying in the porter’s lodge right on the platform was an ideal choice. Sadly we were too early in the season to see or ride on steam trains but it was still fun to see the diesel ones. The cottage was larger than I thought… perfect for the 2 of us. Large well equipped kitchen (a guide on using the cooker would have been useful but we coped very well) and lounge with sofa, arm chair and wood burner which we enjoyed on one evening. 'Besides a very cosy cottage with a great welcome package and very friendly villagers, Al turned out to be our holiday saver when our car broke down on a Sunday evening in the middle of nowhere. He picked us up and arranged the local garage to fix our car the next day. We felt very much at home!'

'De cottage is voorzien van alles wat je maar nodig hebt. Prachtig uitzicht. Je hoort alleen wat schapen en soms een haan. Op loopafstand van een heerlijke pub. Eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk, zijn zelfs bereid om naar de pub te rijden bij slecht weer. Prachtige omgeving!'

'The cottage was in a perfect location for us. The town centre of Ruthin is within walking distance and there are many interesting destinations a short drive away. The cottage was clean and all the essentials were provided. The bedding and towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. There is secure off-road parking and the garden is fenced around. There is a tall step between the back door and the gravelled garden, but Ruthin is hilly so this should not be a surprise! '
