'Wir wurden von Stanley warm und freundlich begrüsst.
Gleich bei unserer Ankunft schnitt er für uns alle eine Kokosnuss von einer der Palmen in seinem Garten und bot sie uns zur Erfrischung an.
Schnell kam man ins Gespräch.
Wer den Austausch mit Locals schätzt, ist hier am richtigen Ort.
Das Haus wurde in den 60ern gebaut und ist einfach einfach und simpel gehalten.
Es verfügt nicht über AC und ähnliche moderne Extras.

'Good parts. Location for beach, size of axcomodation, privacy, quite modern.
Bad parts.. paid for breakfast NO BREAKFAST!!! NO WIFI AT ALL!!! NO HOT WATER AT ALL!! Then there was other things that it said the accomodation had but wasnt there...ie desk, slippers, bottled water.
Worst of all the accomodation is next door to a temple that has chanting through a loud speaker starting at 05.30am and lasts about 45 minutes. This is repeated at 6pm....very loud.'

'Our stay at Maya Tangalle Manor was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is wonderfully quiet, with elegant décor and a beautiful room that opened onto a private patio. The garden is stunning, filled with magnificent, towering trees and peaceful rice paddies that create a truly serene atmosphere.
The food was delicious, and breakfast each morning was a real highlight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
What truly makes this place exceptional is the staff. Everyone was incredibly patient,...
