Beit el Baydar is a hidden gem in the mountains with an amazing view from the pool, a very relaxing terrace and comfortable rooms. The breakfast - prepared freshly in front of you - is one of the best in Lebanon. An absolute must visit if you're looking for a romantic, quiet and relaxing getaway while being close to beautiful places like Batroun and Byblos.'

'Very pleasant facilities and very helpful staff. Everything was clean and in good working condition. Beautiful view of the valley from the windowed hall outside the rooms and the open rooftop above. I was trying to take pictures in the rain and the desk attendant very helpfully provided a big umbrella and offered to hold it. Not a lot of eating places or supermarkets nearby, but there are places down the mountain a little ways.'

'The hotel is great. The service was excellent and the front desk super helpful and nice. You can’t heat the price. The pool is excellent. It’s not luxury comfort but rooms are clean with a good bed and strong air conditioning plus a mini kitchen. It’s a 20 minute walk from town which is fine during the day but bring a flashlight at night. Uber is 3 dollars.'

'Excellent hotel in unbelievable location. Wonderful spacious room with balcony view over the sea. Outstanding breakfast. Fabulous service from reception, concierge, valet. Lovely swimming across the road. Two more critical footnotes. First, the hotel's restaurant across the road served a poor dinner - heavily salted food, no bottled water given. Second, the hotel's bar kept very loud music going into the night.'
