'Beautiful Victorian house in a very quite and amazing town. The hotel is great but my only complain is the toilet open concept which has no privacy with the rest of the room, this is at least in the room we stayed.'

'Everything about this hotel is great. They take you back in time when nothing was too good for you. I have been in South Africa for 6 weeks and the evening meal was delicious on all courses. The best I have had on this trip. Service very friendly and helpful. '

'I only stayed one night but this place was excellent and I will definitely be back. Super warm and friendly welcome, and excellent communication in advance of arrival. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet, set in a beautiful property. The sherry in the room was a cherry on the top of all this! Thoroughly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area or passing through.'

'This place exceeded our expectations in many ways. The guesthouse is very charming and dates back to the early 19th century. Our room was actually a very spacious multi-room bungalow with a gorgeous thatched straw ceiling and lovely art. The hostess clearly pours her heart and soul into her business. We cannot recommend this place enough!'

'Stayed in one of the cottages for 2 nights. Beautifully appointed, spacious and comfortable. A private veranda overlooking a gorgeous and interesting garden. I would definitely stay here again. Johan is a great host. There when you need him and respecting your privacy when you don’t. A must'
