'The staff are wonderful, attentive, charming and incredibly helpful. The game drive's were fantastic with the guide brilliantly knowledgeable, patient and excellent at finding animals to view - we saw a pride of lions relaxing after a hunt, giraffes, zebu, antelope, hippos, baboons, naughty monkeys and hundreds and hundreds of elephants. The best part of Chobe Mopani Forest Lodge apart from the staff is the watering hole. We had breakfast and dinner overlooking the watering hole watching...

'Goed gelegen vlakbij de grens met Zimbabwe en 12 km van Chobe NP. Ruime kamer met afzonderlijke zithoek. IJskast. Goede douche. Goede WiFi. Afgesloten parking. 2 zwembaden. Ontbijt en diner waren goed. Restaurant was de eerste avond gesloten. TV kregen we niet in gang. We boekten via het hotel een excursie naar de Victoria falls en een game drive en bootcruise in Chobe NP en dat was allemaal goed georganiseerd tegen een goede prijs.'

'Der öffentliche Bereich ist etwas angewöhnt, die Toiletten unsauber, aber die Anlage wird gerade renoviert. Die Lage der Bungalows an Fluss ist toll, die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit der Bungalows sehr gut. Frühstück und Abendessen waren ebenfalls sehr gut, so dass insgesamt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis hervorragend ist.'

It is 7-8 chalets and a few campsites large. Advice for future travelers, turn off the tar road at the "Xhabe Safari 2km" sign at top of the hill and do not rely on the GPS. '
