'This property is incredibly situated with an amazing view down Ella Gap. The rooms are built into the side of the hill, with wooden doors and windows openingnupmon the view - so tjink more like a challet (or lodge!) than fancynjotel room. The staff are really lovely and can't do enough for you, helping to make plans for hikes, arranging transport, doing any washing you have- they are really spot on. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony so you wake up to a view of the mountails The host Priyanatha is so warm, welcoming and always available to help. Breakfast was lovely (especially the hoppers). A short walk (or tuk tuk) into town. Loved my stay here! Thank you!'

'The view was amazing at Belmont it was absolutely breath taking and the rooms and washrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good as well. The only caution to look out for it there’s bugs that come in the room at night through the door to the balcony if there’s so hidden spaces, but if u stuff a bag or something in those spaces it should be okay. '

'Excellent location in Ella where we stayed for one night. Very friendly and courteous staff. Comfortable & clean room. View from the balcony overlooking the valley and the mountain was spectacular. The hotel has an amazing collection of plants in the garden. Easy access to adventure activities and trail to Mini Adams Peak. Breakfast had variety of choices and food was tasty. Great value'

'Wow, what an experience. When we pulled up into the camp, there was an elephant just there (a tusker no less). The standards were consistently high from there. We were well looked after by the manager Ravi, with impeccable service throughout. My wife's gluten free requirement being well looked after. The views are stunning, the food was great. At camp we sat and watched birds, and beyond seeing an elephant we saw a leopard just crossing the road outside! Before going to bed... Shine a torch into...

'What an amazing time we had at yala safari camping! The place is magical - completely immersed in the jungle, with trees as far as the eye can see and the mountains in the distance. Our « tent » (it’s not really a tent, definitely more like a luxury cabin) was in front of a lily pad pond and the sounds of the frogs made it a super relaxing place to sleep.
