'the owner was very helpful, everything worked well, but address on Google maps is not showing the right house (the house is in the next block), we had to call the owner twice to navigate us. Just one incorrect info in the description of the appartment on Hotels.com - the mattresses are not comfortable (with lazy foam), but standard mattresses. The beds are a bit small for 2 adults, but we managed. Our 2 kids slept together without any problem.'

'Loved that the villa was homely but luxurious, having its own personal pool in the back yard. The villa had all the requirements of a home and the washer/dryer was very useful. The location is great. Walkable to a handful of restaurants - Roots Spirit, Happy Rajah, Medium Rare Steakhouse and Jiva Coffee - All recommended. 'Great apartment. Very quiet. Well maintained. Very helpful host. Regular cleaning. Only downside is it’s a bit of a walk to the beach/town but they do offer a shuttle if you need it. We had a hire car so it wasn’t really a problem. '

'This hotel also has long term guests because it is awesome. The owner / manager is always trying extra miles to help every guest, treat them like a family. My late checking in, my transport and my last day checking out has never been so looked after. The value is far beyond what’s been paid for. I have a kitchen, big fridge, balcony to hang clothes, closet to keep my stuff, a safe and much more. Would highly recommend. '

'We loved our stay at Dodo Square. Dodo was a great location as a base to travel around the north of Mauritius. Entry details were emailed to us the day before arrival.
