'Took my family of 3 teens and 2 dogs for a few days away. This house was perfect. Very spacious, great beds, lovely fireplace, excellent dog friendly fencing and located perfectly near beach, shop, playground (great flying fox) and Cossie Club. Himitangi is such a cool spot. We fished, drove to Foxton on beach, and dogs loved the endless running on the beach. Loved it! Great helpful host. Thanks.'

'Excellent cozy holiday house. Very clean with all things present that were needed for an accomodation house. Comfortable beds with loads of warm duvets and spare blankets for the cold location mid winter. Extremely effective fireplace with exceptional firewood making warming the house very easy. Both my 9year old daughter and I very much enjoyed the brilliant range of kids books. Thanks loads Tracey and Steve. Was great getaway retreat to base from. Highly recommended. Close to tbe main road...

'My family and i had a stop over on our way back to Wellington from Northland. Perfect, clean and magnificent gardens, highly recommended. Next time we might have to stay a few extra nights, it has everything you need even a highchair for the littlies'

'A relaxed home away from home type batch. It had everything we needed and was warm and cozy. Perfect weekend away for a friends/Mums catch up. A short walk to the local eatery and beach. The spa was the perfect way to end each day. I would definitely stay again. '

'Monday Cottage at Castlecliff is a charming and delightful holiday cottage. It has a very nostalgic feel, and the furnishings are brilliant to the period. It is close to the main beach which has lovely sunsets. For anyone wanting a true taste of period New Zealand then this is an ideal holiday base and location.'
