'Somewhat outdated hotel rooms, with a lot of noise from the outside. The shower gives almost no water. Enough parking space even when you arrive late '

'Very disappointing stay – would not recommend I stayed at Mercure Haydock for two days and unfortunately the experience was extremely poor. The biggest issue was the broken bed. One side was broken and every time we moved it made an extremely loud noise. It was also very uncomfortable and made sleeping difficult. 'The host was there to greet us which was nice and gave us a tour of the property. The room we stayed in was clean and very spacious and had a lovely big bathroom ( maybe consider a rail in the shower to hold on to) as well as a big sofa in the bedroom to chill. There is not kettle in the room however it's a short walk to the communal kitchen for to make a cuppa or food. Your allocated a shelf in the fridge to store food. We had 2 chihuahuas with us and they had a lovely space to run about as...

'Had a very good stay at The Royal Albert, keypad entry to entrance stairwell and room, recently decorated staircase to room on second level no lift. 'Room and amenities were ok but rooms were too close to a busy main road! Window needed to be kept open because hot in the room - so noisy! It didn’t help that the Bin lorry visited about 9.30 pm ish and bins were being dragged to be emptied and in the morning-7am ish to be put back in place !!!'
