It is close to the main beach which has lovely sunsets. For anyone wanting a true taste of period New Zealand then this is an ideal holiday base and location.'

'Beautiful home, only downside was the host was pretty much in the next room. Communication was good, host was helpful and we had extra guests @ 25 per head. I would definately stay again and recommend this property to visitors '

'The house was wonderful for our two families which included 4 kids. It had everything that we needed. The view was amazing and the house was very comfy.The pillows could be improved, but other than that, no complaints. You can request linens, at an extra cost, if you're travelling from overseas like we were'

'The man that ran the place was very kind and straight to the point heaps of utilities in the kitchen so you wouldn’t have to bring a whole pan or potato masher, the kitchen and toilet are shared but it was still great. The heater was warm and me and my friends had a great time '
