'Nice hotel, great location for the RSC, reasonable parking costs. Stayed in the Ophelia suite, the furniture was a bit tired but very clean. Good price. Would stay again'

'Als je van klassiek en antiek houdt, dan is dit zo'n hotel. Gezellige zitjes overal, mooie eetzaal, lekker Engels ingericht. Kamers zijn mooi en de eerste koffie 's morgens heerlijk, want er staat een Nespresso-apparaat, hoera. Prima parkeerplaatsen achter het hotel (valet-parking). Winkels en restaurantjes (ook een Indiaas rest.) op loopafstand; Broadway is en blijft een leuk dorp.'

'Stunning building but the maintenance of it lets it down. The hostess at breakfast was very friendly and helpful, but the service itself was chaotic. They should be serving barista made drinks with breakfast rather than having queues at an instant machine. Some people were ordering from menus, others weren’t. The staff seemed very stressed. The room was basic but ok value for money. The spa treatment was the highlight'

'We enjoyed a four night midweek stay at this beautiful property. The decor is truly stunning throughout the hotel , the restaurant excellent and staff attentive and helpful. The grounds are extensive and beautiful and the hotel is situated in a very rural area with plenty of interesting places to visit within easy driving distance. The dark night skies make for excellent star gazing!'

'We only stayed for one night, but it was a great experience. The location was perfect for our needs, and having plenty of parking on-site made things very easy. Our room was standard, comfortable, and clean. The highlight was definitely the breakfast—a really lovely full English! Would happily stay again.'

'Awful. Aircon didn’t work and the window only opened a crack. Was reported but just got a stock response and no follow up. Beds were awful, sheets dirty, cleaners just basically half-straightened the sheets and stepped over the dirty towels leaving them. Furniture was broken, torn, cracked. No water pressure so a trickle of a shower, huddled behind a dirty shower curtain. An awful hotel.'

'Gewoon een hotel. Niet meer niet minder. Niks gezellig. Ontbijt was buffet, was in orde. Kamer was proper. Badkamer ruim. Maar matras was verschrikkelijk. Ook het zetelbed voor de kids lag oncomfortabel. '
