'We didn't expect anything as we were passing through on our way south but were pleasantly surprised of this beautiful and unique farm. The manager Kobus will gladly attend to all your wishes and on request, he even dimmed every possible light to let us gaze at the beautiful starfilled sky. This is what our ancestors of pre-industrialized times must have seen and it was simply amazing. Judging the breakfast we can only conclude that Kobus would have made a great chef. Definitely recommended.'

'We arrived in a heatwave and were very happy to find an air conditioner in the main bedroom but the second room had only a ceiling fan. The rooms were clean and well furnished with a fridge, kettle, makings of coffee. Plenty of water and ample hot water for the three of us. In future, I would choose to eat in Colesberg, about 5 Kilometers away. Safe parking was provided and our bicycle stayed on the car.'
