'The hotel is beautiful. Zuzka was wonderful. She was patient, very efficient, kind and her English is excellent, which we really appreciated. Thank you again Zuzka! Hope to see you again! Jessica and the USA band Vio-lence. '

'Let's start with the positives. The reception desk and café staff, were incredibly helpful and kind. The room was clean. The dining space was updated and clean and the staff did their best. The grounds were well kept. The negative were the other staff. No one spoke English and did not attempt to communicate in any other language, verbal or non-verbal. Listing a property on Expedia should include mention that English is not widely spoken when appropriate. Except for the cave steam bath, there...

'The front desk staff is very helpful & kind. The room was old but clean. There is no aircon, just an electric fan only. There is no shampoo & soap.'

'I booked the (cheapest) hotel room for a layover night for a multi-day trip by car. The room was dated but the bed felt good and the bathroom was clean. 'Hotel zeker proper en ruime kamer, en we kregen aparte bedden zoals gevraagd. Kraan van bad was oud en werkte niet goed.'

'Nice, clean, and big apartment. Close enough to most places to walk or take public transportation.'

'This is a very posh, small (24 room) 5* hotel, located right in the center of the small town of Banska Stiavnica. We were the only guests that night, because the hotel had blocked reservations to get organized for the summer season (and forgot to block Expedia). The hotel owner was working the desk, and was extremely friendly and helpful. There is convenient and secure parking under the hotel. There are a few tourist attractions in town (most interesting - the mine tour) and there are other...

'A very nice, spacious and clean room. Parking in front of the room. A very good breakfast (the hotel rooms are an annex to a restaurant, which we only used for breakfast)'

'Very nice staff, great and interesting looking hotel, and good location. Only downside is the lack of airconditioning in the room on these hot summer days. '
