'The check in was super easy. It is a nice house in a great location. There were a few things different from any stays I've had before: food in the fridge and cupboards, a full dish of pet food in the middle of the kitchen floor, empty beer can in the sink, the upstairs was blocked off but the lights were on and a window was open (which was odd to come back to at night), no binder with info inclucing wifi password, if we needed to strip beds, etc. One bathroom was very dirty and I had to clean...

'The cottage was a perfect place for my 16 year old son and I to enjoy the lake and the resort’s amenities. The pool was very relaxing and we had a perfect view of the lake from the cottage. We had a great time playing volleyball, pool and pickle ball. The dock provided perfect easy access to the lake and we brought our paddle board and were able to put it in the lake right from the dock. Perfect location to all the area attractions and restaurants. We will definitely be back!'

'The first surprise was being asked to put used toilet paper in the trashcan instead of the toilet. I had to go back-and-forth a couple times to find out why and the host said they’ve had trouble with people over stuffing & over flowing the toilet. 'We love staying here! This is our third year staying with Matt & Debra and our first year staying in the Station. My husband in particular had been eyeing the Station since our first stay due to the fire engine parked outside. We finally moved from the Safari (which is also spectacular!) to the Station and loved it! Its wonderful to have a washer & dryer in the unit having a toddler along with us, and Matt & Debra always go above and beyond to accommodate our entire family - pups included....

'I can’t tell you about the property because we didn’t get to stay at the house. Our host had the place double booked. So make sure you double check before you drive 6 hours away. Also, I was not given a full refund after he had admitted it was double booked the day after. '

'I stayed here for a work trip. It was more space than I needed!, and I appreciated the clean and comfortable place to rest! For future guests, or future time visiting I would appreciate some napkins or paper towels for eating a meal in the home. Thank you for an easy process and inviting place to rest.'
