'The house was set back in away from the road noise. Was a very enjoyable weekend stay. We did see deer and turkeys on property. Would definitely book again! '

'We stayed in the tree house because of it's location on the Elk County Trail of Dreams. As soon as we parked we were welcomed with the sounds of a nearby stream. The kids enjoyed exploring nature and being secluded. We even learned to enjoy swaying back and forth through a brief thunderstorm. It is a legitimate tree house. With all the natural charm it's easy to forget your only 30 seconds away from the Elk Life Store. There was planting of SxS/ATV traffic going by, but that's why we were there....

'We were VERY pleased with our stay. Hal is a fantastic host and responded quickly when we had an issue with the tv. One note...if you stay during the week, be sure to call places to see if they are open before making the drive. We found some places closed - despite Google saying they were open. '

'Great little cabin right on the river. Super cozy with a lot of attention to detail in the finishes. Surrounded by nature and the front deck or fire pit area is your living room, it really helps you reconnect. No WiFi and very little phone service is exactly what I enjoy when in this area. Great for a few couples or two small/1 large family! '

'Its right along the river. We float from the boat launch to the cabin. The kids spend hours in the river throughout the day. Enjoy camp fires at night.'

'This was a very beautiful home and a great place to come back to at the end of long day sightseeing and exploring the area. It was in middle of the different places we wanted to go. We even seen a glimse of the Northern Lights. We had a small issue that was immediately addressed by the home owner. Thank you for opening your home to us.'

'This is a beautiful place with the river in front and deer in the back! A nice big yard for playing and a swing on the porch for relaxing. Only minutes from Cook Forest activities.'

'Very clean property. It was pretty hot during our stay and the A/C worked well. All linens were provided. Very comfy for the two of us and our small dog. We made breakfast each morning with provided farm fresh eggs! Thank you. There was also water in fridge to get us started. The yard was well kept and had a nice view. Great place to star gaze by the fire and close to Kinzua and Chapman State Park for kayaking. '

'This was a pleasant surprise. The unit is spacious, clean and well-appointed. All instructions were clear and easy to follow. I really loved the star-gazing opportunity and, of course, the animals. My doggos loved the aromas of the farm :) Thank you so much for a great adventure. Only minus was my own fault since I didn't focus on how far the unit was from State College.'
