'We came to Clear Lake for a concert at the Surf. The house is very close! The host let me know about the farmer’s market in the parking lot of the Surf on Saturday mornings, so that was very convenient! The games were nice, there was a chair in the living room that we were all obsessed with, and there were a ton of extra blankets and pillows all around the house for lounging! It was a great little house and had more than enough space for our two couples. The host didn’t reach out after check-in...

'We had a really nice time staying at Swordfish Dog Retreat. The house was clean, well appointed, and wonderfully decorated. It is within walking distance to the downtown and the lake. The lower level was stocked with everything you need to make your dog comfy and the fenced in yard was great too! Mike and Abby were easy to contact about check in and anything else we needed. We hope to stay again in the near future. '

'It was a wonderful experience. The house is amazing and provides for every need and want. We had 13 family members from 8 years of age up to retirement and it was comfortable for all. We all loved the pool, the game room and spacious living areas, as well as having plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for all. It was perfect for our family reunion. '

Our family reunions was at the community center in Ventura, but the Clausen house served as a gathering spot for the brothers and sisters to visit. We loved the location as it was easy to walk to plenty of entertainment and shopping. There was plenty of parking. This was our third stay at the Clausen and I am sure there will be plenty more. 'In town for a family reunion. Loved the location of the house, just a short walk to the beach. Lakeview from the front porch. Clean and well stocked to make you feel at home. Used the wagon to take our granddaughter to the beach. Toys, beach items, highchair were all helpful. '

'Two couples on our 70's stayed for two nights in June. Communication was great, .with Diana andwering all of our detailed questions. Checkin was easy. The facility and setting was as described: clean, very well supplied and charming. Our favorite feature was the shaded patio overlooking the Shell Rock river. The deck above was not as impressive.
