'Great time'

'Rain and cold weather altered our plans, so we spent the majority of time at the lake house. However, it was now disappointment! The house is clean and cozy with all of the amenities of home. We had game night, sat around the fire circle and loved the view. My son brought his dog and this place is wonderful for pets!We could not have been happier. Will definitely be back! '

'This is our second stay at Owl’s Nest. The cottage has everything you need to be comfortable and have fun. The cove is quiet and offers great fishing and wildlife viewing. I was lucky to see an otter swim by which made my day. David and Pearle are very accommodating and responsive.'

'The house is just as described. The location was great; close to where we rented our boat, restaurants and grocery store. Not far from state park for hiking as well. The road in front of the house is not a busy road. The towels were very soft and we used the deck alot. A nice addition would be a hairdryer! '

'This is a great spot with a cool design aesthetic. It was just enough space for me, my husband and dog. So many places I’ve stayed have an abundance of “stuff” and things can be hard to find. The love shack had just enough of everything and it felt like an actual home. Place was super clean and the location is great. Communication was easy and straightforward'

'This home was perfect. Kids had a ball with indoor pool, hot tub, game room, hiking, smores, movies while adults relaxed. No reason to leave the property during our short stay!'

'Great little spot for three younger people looking to explore the area. Four would have been a tight squeeze. Spiral staircase that is used to access 2/3 sleeping areas was also a tighter squeeze. Owner was communicative and responsive. Pleasant little weekend!'

'Very clean, sanitized everything before I left . Vaccumed the carpets, washed the sheets, sanitized the chairs, Febreeze the sofa , dishes washed and trash has been taken out in the proper bins as labeled. Dusted the blinds , wet mopped and dry mopped the floors. Took my recycles home with me. '

'Great location right across from slopes. Clean, well appointed, nice layout. Would definitely stay again.'

'Not far from the main road and surprisingly close to the town and ski resort, while at the property you feel entirely secluded and away from civilization. The main living and dining area is great for everyone to spend time together with a fire going while the bedrooms are tucked away for good privacy. The wrap around deck would be a great place to lounge in summer, and the fire pit would be similarly nice on summer and fall evenings.'

'The inside of the house was very clean and very tastefully decorated. The view was out of this world! The one thing that we would like to note, is that prior guests left large dog poop on the balcony that was not cleaned up by the staff. In addition, there was a bag of dog poop left in front of the home. Everything else was excellent and we still appreciate it being dog-friendly.'

'We enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse Lodge. It was quiet, cozy and had a great view of nature. The road to get there was steep and bumpy but my Prius handled it (in June, no snow). The main bed was too soft, but without the foam topper it was just right for us. The listing is accurate except that there are now FOUR TVs and nice chairs around the firepit. If you plan to cook, bring a few things (hot mitts, aluminum foil, etc). Other reviews are right about the extremely low water pressure. That...

'We went to this cabin/house as a retreat just to relax and read. We got to do that! The house is as pictured but with a few cobwebs around and the windows are in desperate need of washing (so as not to obstruct the view). The big bedroom was a little cold compared to the rest of the house. The fireplace in the living room was a bonus as we like a "live" fire. Firewood was easy to obtain in the area. Overall, we my wife and I had a good, relaxing time. Would go back to this place again.'
